Cookies and local storage explained
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser so it can remember things between visits (for example, that you are signed in). Local storage is a related browser technology that lets a site keep data on your device. MyTasbih relies heavily on local storage: the free counter keeps your counts, streaks, and preferences there so it works instantly and offline, without ever sending them to us.
What we use, and why

We do not use your dhikr activity, custom dhikr, account data, or subscription data to personalize advertising.
Third-party cookies
A few trusted third parties may set their own cookies when you use specific features:
- Stripe and PayPal — during checkout, to process your payment securely and help prevent fraud.
- Google / social sign-in — if you choose to sign in with a social provider, that provider may set cookies as part of authenticating you.
- Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity — to measure visits, performance, and interaction patterns so we can improve the site.
- Google AdSense — on eligible free counter and article pages, to serve, limit, protect, and measure ads according to your location and consent choice.
- Hosting and security (Cloudflare) — our infrastructure may set essential cookies to route traffic and protect the site.
These cookies are governed by the third party's own privacy and cookie policies.
Managing cookies
Where required, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies. You can revisit your advertising choice at any time through the Privacy and cookie settings link shown in the site footer when the advertising consent service is available. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be switched off because the app would not work without them.
You can also control cookies and local storage through your browser settings — most browsers let you view, block, or delete them. Clearing your browser storage will also remove any dhikr data the free counter has saved on your device, so export or sync anything important first.
Do Not Track
Browsers do not implement the "Do Not Track" signal consistently. Use our privacy choices and your browser's cookie controls to manage non-essential storage. We do not use your dhikr activity to build an advertising profile.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as the app or the law changes. We will update the "Last updated" date when we do.
